“Nicole was so gentle and knowledgeable. The technology she use made the visit comfortable, and I appreciated how she walked me through every step.”
Yes. We work with many dental insurance plans and are happy to submit claims on your behalf. Dental insurance is a method of payment, not a guide for care. Treatment recommendations are based on clinical findings and professional standards, and coverage decisions are made by your insurance carrier after claims are processed.
We provide benefit estimates as a courtesy whenever possible. However, insurance benefits are estimates, not guarantees of payment. Final coverage is determined by your insurance company after the claim is processed.
X-rays are an essential part of providing safe, ethical dental care. They allow us to detect conditions not visible during a visual exam, such as decay between teeth, bone loss, or infection. X-rays are typically needed at least once per year, or more often when clinically indicated. Without current diagnostic imaging, we may be unable to provide treatment.
Patients always have the right to decline any procedure. However, without current diagnostic imaging, we may be unable to safely diagnose conditions or provide treatment. In these cases, your appointment may need to be rescheduled until appropriate diagnostics are completed.
EMS Airflow® is a modern hygiene technology that gently removes biofilm and stains using air, warm water, and fine powder. It is more comfortable for many patients and supports effective preventive and periodontal care. At Flourish, Airflow is part of our standard approach and is not an optional upgrade.
Absolutely. Many patients experience dental anxiety, and we take this seriously. Our appointments are unrushed, our approach is gentle and educational, and we encourage open communication. Please let us know your concerns, sensory sensitivities, or past experiences so we can tailor your visit.
This is a very common question, and we’re glad you asked.
At Flourish Dental & Wellness, there is no one-size-fits-all “regular cleaning.” The type of cleaning recommended is based on your individual diagnosis — just as medical care is based on your health needs, not a standard template.
After a comprehensive exam and periodontal evaluation, patients may be recommended:
Preventive cleaning
Gingivitis therapy
Periodontal maintenance
Or periodontal treatment
Providing a cleaning that does not align with a patient’s diagnosis would not meet professional standards of care and could allow disease to progress untreated.
You always have the right to decline recommended treatment. However, if a patient chooses not to proceed with the type of care indicated by their diagnosis, we may be unable to provide an alternative cleaning that does not meet clinical guidelines.
Our goal is never to upsell or pressure — it is to practice ethically, transparently, and in a way that supports long-term health.
If our diagnostic-based approach does not align with your expectations, we are happy to help with referrals to another practice that may better meet your needs.
Yes. We welcome children and families and tailor care based on age, development, and individual needs. Diagnostic imaging and preventive recommendations for children are based on professional guidelines and individual risk factors.
